Jenny Sizzler — making new friendships, cherishing old ones

The pandemic may have thrown everything off kilter for a minute, but now Jenny is back and better than ever!! Our 16th or 17th season (I have personally lost count!) is shaping up to be our most awe-inspiring, odds-defying journey through the multiverse yet, and we couldn’t have done any of it without our truly dedicated fans! And if you aren’t already in the fold, you have a new friend request: that’s right, Jenny Sizzler wants to be friends with you! She loves what you bring to the party, and honestly thinks you’re a pretty rad person.

Forging lasting, international friendships is what Jenny is all about

BIONIC UPGRADES INSTALLED

Also of note, we’ve been integrating the use of in-ear monitors during our live performances, resulting in a more enjoyable, less noisy & much cleaner overall listening experience for band and audience alike; we think you’ll agree with us on this one — it’s a total game changer!! Squee!!

KEEP BEING THE WONDERFUL PERSON YOU ARE!

Ok, that’s enough blathering for now. We’re stoked you’re our friend & want you to know we love you. Keep up the great work <3 ~Jenny

Jenny welcomes new bandmates!

We are thrilled to announce the addition of our newest band members!

Master Of All Things Instruments Rich Landar will mostly be elevating the notion of what it means to be on keys, though you’ll be delighted to see him light up the mando from time to time, as well. And did we mention he sings, too?

Physicist of the Phantasmal Rob Sipsky will assume lead guitar duties with his usual boundless enthusiasm & unbridled joy- exactly the way nature intended. But does he sing? You know it!

Welcome to the fold, gents! Now please fasten your seatbelts — it’s gonna be a wild ride!!

If you noticed that some things look a lot different around here lately, it’s because you are an astute & perceptive observer! **CLIFFHANGER ALERT** Major Sizzler news coming very soon — stay tuned 😉

loss of Chris Chandler, guitarist

chandler

Jenny Sizzler was devastated by the loss of our lead guitarist, Chris Chandler. He touched many hearts, evident by the outpouring of emotion amongst a large community of friends.

Chris embraced his role in Jenny Sizzler and put a lot of work into it, resulting in an exceptional performance. We are grateful for his enthusiasm and dedication to the band. He was also a close friend. He will be greatly missed.

OregonLive did an article on Chris’ passing and included an interview with Sizzler’s bandleader Kevin and a video of a performance featuring Chris.

We’ll try to publish more recordings of Chris with the band and include them here.
